Our farm is a living and breathing classroom! We have been connecting children, teens, and adults to nature since 2002! In a time where the natural world - and its changing climate - is of increasing importance, we know the educational programs we provide are especially critical. Whether we're on the farm, or bringing our educational programming on the road to local schools, school gardens, and community locations, we are passionate about educating the next generation - and all ages - and helping to instill a lifelong love of the natural world.
We offer year-round, hands-on, and immersive learning experiences on the farm for children ages 3 -12!
Our working organic farm, education garden, and the natural world that surrounds it is like a classroom come-to-life! And, our beloved barnyard animals are always nearby!
Through our thoughtful curriculum, children learn about a variety of topics like sustainable farming, climate change, ecology, healthy eating, conservation, and being good stewards of the land.
There are benefits to learning in nature too! Like access to vitamin D, sunshine, exercise, opportunities to get creative, take safe risks, foster a love for the natural world, and time to socialize! And, there's no screen time!
Did you know we partner with over 40 schools in the South Shore and Greater Boston area?
Whether we're learning together here on the farm, in your school, or in a school garden, our educators can provide hands-on enriching curriculum and learning experiences for your students.
Teens can be part of the positive impact we're making on the farm, in the overall health of the environment, and for people in the community facing food insecurity. Learn about our Farm-to-Food Pantry community service opportunities on the farm.
Opportunities offered year-round!
We offer tiered pricing so that families can choose the price that is right for their family. The Frank H. White Scholarship Fund provides the opportunity for families to access additional support when available.
Each year we offer an array of on the farm educational workshops for adults. Past topics have included: sustainable home gardening topics; creating native habitats; guided walks about edible plants, fungi and bird watching; healthy eating, cooking and wellness; expert guest speakers, and much more
