For more than 20 years, Friends of Holly Hill Farm has cultivated not just crops, but curiosity, connection, and community on these 5.23 beautiful acres of land, generously leased to us by the White family. Now, thanks to the incredible generosity of our supporters, we’ve reached a milestone that once felt like a dream: we’ve raised enough to purchase the land.
This is a moment to celebrate what we’ve accomplished together - and to look ahead. Holly Hill Farm is more than its fields. It’s the people who come here to learn, grow, and reconnect with the land. Now it’s time to give them the space and tools they need to thrive.
Like the purchase of Sandy Beach a century ago, this is a once-in-a-generation opportunity — to secure a community treasure and invest in its future.
What is Keep Our Farm a Farm?
Keep Our Farm a Farm is a capital campaign and a two-step plan to save the farm and ensure a robust, thriving future - for generations to come. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we have raised over $4.9 million and are building extraordinary momentum!

With your continued support, we will make important updates
Build a sustainable indoor/outdoor education and program space
Currently we do not have a year-round indoor programming space to host educational programs or fundraising events. This makes learning and gathering difficult, especially in the winter and inclement weather. And, we do not have an indoor restroom (you've seen the porta-potty!)!
Improvements will:
- Create an accessible, sustainably built indoor/outdoor programming and event space with climate control.
- Add a catering and demonstration kitchen, indoor restrooms, office space, and storage.
Renovate our Main Barn
Our Main Barn, that supports our year-round farm stand operations, is over 240 years old!
Improvements will:
- Create an accessible entrance so everyone can shop
- Improve shopping experience
- Introduce climate control
- Add a produce washing and bagging area to make farming operations more efficient
Improvements to parking and traffic
In addition to the enhancements above, we will also improve parking and traffic on the farm.
We think of preserving the farm as one of those pivotal opportunities that come along once in a generation; an opportunity to maintain some small, but special piece of Cohasset.
