Educational Programs

Farm-based school programs

We work with teachers who want to think outside the classroom, helping them to develop a 'farm-based' curriculum to integrate into their lesson plans.  Programs are tailored for individual students' goals and include a customized classroom lesson

plan anchored with at least two farm visits for hands-on learning.

  • Attendance limits:  50 students/day
  • Teaching units: 10- 12 students per staff member
  • Farm visit times:  2 hours for younger students, 3 hours for older
