Friends of Holly Hill Farm is more than 'just' a farm. Each year, we:
· Educate 7,000+ Massachusetts schoolchildren-- at the farm or in 40+ schools--giving them a real and lasting connection to nature.
· Grow certified organic vegetables, herbs and flowers on land that has been farmed since the 17th century. Growing sustainably and following regenerative farming practices to better care for the soil and the greater environment.
· Donate to local food pantries over 2,000 pounds of healthy, fresh organic produce specifically grown for the hungry families in our community.
· Save over 37.5 tons of food scraps from the public waste stream every year with our community compost initiatives.
* Preserve and protect the land and surrounding conservation land by removing invasive species, restoring native plants, and ensuring the land can support a healthy biodiversity of plants, insects, birds and other wildlife.
Our programs have made a world of difference to our community and our Funding Partner program is your chance to make a positive impact right alongside with us.
