Holly Hill Overnight

Whose woods these are, I think I know… so begins Robert Frost who, along with Thoreau, may have indeed figured out what it takes to start a campfire, pitch a tent and spend a night in nature. How nice it will be away from the noise, clutter and electronic attachments which so dominate our day to day life.

Come spend the first four mornings at the Farm preparing for a Thursday night camp out at the Farm. The group will work together to practice pitching tents, setting a campfire and learning to cook a meal in the outdoors. The participants will have a chance to spend the night on a vacant field and wake-up to make a farm breakfast, fold away the tents and leave no trace, except good memories from a fun week.

Space is limited to 10 participants.

When: Mondays through Friday, July & August, 9 am – noon, Thursday 6pm – overnight

  • Session 1: July 25-29
  • Session 2: An additional session will be scheduled in August if the July session is overenrolled.

Fee per session: $275members/$340 nonmembers (family membership included)

Also available: Lunch at the Farm, 12-1pm: a separate program available for all kids ages 3-12
