Assistant Farm Teacher. Teens 14-18

This program seeks students who are interested in learning to teach in an outdoor setting and with a variety of age levels. An Assistant Farm Teacher needs to commit to at least two weeks of farm teaching.

There are required pre-session and post-session meetings, planning and evaluations of our educational programs.  Students will need to complete a brief application to show their interest, ideas and investment for the variety of programs we offer. When: Mondays through Fridays, June 8 –August 28

 

Sessions 1-12: 8:30 am-12:30 pm

 

Fee: No fee required.

 

Stipend: The Assistant Farm Teachers are paid a stipend for their time and hours of instruction, and staff writes a personal reference of accomplishments for each AFT.
